Today, it is impossible to imagine a construction site without powerful trucks and special equipment. Megacities are expanding, new comfortable microdistricts, shopping and entertainment centers and industrial facilities are appearing. Along with them, the demand for construction equipment is growing. Renting special equipment allows you to quickly make up for the lack of mechanisms used in construction and installation work.
About us For several years now, Labojodoqa has been among the leaders in the field of renting and hiring special equipment. And this is not only our merit. Over the years, we have managed to form our own extensive fleet of construction and lifting equipment. Clients have been able to see the reliability and benefits of partnership with us.
Maintenance of special equipment is work aimed at eliminating faults and ensuring the required level of performance of various mechanisms, units, systems. Unlike repairs, which are aimed at eliminating the breakdown of a specific component of the structure, maintenance can be considered as a set of operations necessary to maintain the most effective parameters and characteristics of all special equipment.
Machine maintenance is carried out according to a schedule determined in advance by the owner and is necessary for diagnosing the current state of the model, monitoring the serviceability of systems and their components, timely correction of detected defects, replacement of consumables and parts that have exhausted their resource. As part of technical maintenance, repair work of varying complexity (current or major) can be carried out. Regular maintenance can increase the wear resistance of components and significantly increase the intervals between their replacement, prevent breakdowns, which in turn reduces operating costs and downtime, makes special equipment more efficient.
During scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, it is equally important to install only original spare parts on machines. Analogs and counterfeit products can provide small savings at the purchasing stage, but result in significantly greater losses in the form of sudden equipment failure.
In most cases, large and expensive special equipment is used at a site in small quantities, and some models may be present in a single copy. Therefore, any forced downtime of dump trucks, truck cranes, construction units and other special equipment leads to delays not only at the site where the machine was directly involved, but also at the entire site. Thus, a breakdown of a truck crane makes it impossible to continue the construction of multi-story buildings, and a breakdown of a dump truck complicates the logistics of road works.
When heavy equipment breaks down, the consequence may be not only temporary downtime, but also damage to valuable property, injuries and even death of company employees and other people. For example, spontaneous activation of the dump truck body tipping system on a public road may result in damage to other vehicles on it.
Maintenance before, during and after running-in. The procedure is recommended for new or repaired equipment. The list of works includes inspection of the machine, cleaning it from dust, dirt and preservative grease, preparing batteries, checking the levels of technical fluids, lubricating parts of units and assemblies, visually checking the readings of control devices for compliance with the standards specified in the documentation of the manufacturer.
Daily/monthly maintenance. Checking the systems and units of the transport and working bodies of the machine, cleaning work, general assessment of the condition and completeness of the main systems, units and assemblies. Routine maintenance of road equipment allows for continuous monitoring of the machine, ensuring its proper condition during the work shift, promptly identifying and eliminating faults.
Primary maintenance. The procedure includes all types of work provided for by the EO. Additionally, specialists check fasteners, lubricate elements, replace technical fluids, perform adjustments without dismantling and disassembling units.
Periodic maintenance. The procedures are carried out after the operating periods set by the manufacturer in order to prevent premature wear and failure of parts. If the technician cannot assess the condition of some units during a visual inspection, the scope of work includes dismantling the units for testing on specialized diagnostic stands and devices.
Seasonal maintenance. Every six months (in the spring-summer and autumn-winter periods), the machines are prepared for operation in appropriate weather conditions. During maintenance, the hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel and oil systems are checked and flushed, engine oil and technical fluids in the crankcases of other units are replaced. Insulation and heating equipment are also installed (or dismantled) on the machines. To expand the functionality, specialized attachments can be installed on the equipment.
